What is covered by this warranty?
This warranty covers the repair or replacement of defective parts during the warranty period of your product. Please note that software and preinstalled programs are not covered by your Nexus warranty and that Nexus recommends that you make back-up copies of all your programs and data.
This warranty covers only the basic computer system. All other peripherals, including Hard disk drives, CD-RO M's, DVD's, DVD/RW that may be supplied installed with you system are covered by their manufacturer's warranty. All external peripherals to the main computer (monitor, printers, scanners, cameras, speakers, keyboards, mouse, etc) are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranty. Any devices or peripherals added on any Nexus product upon your request are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranty.
Who is authorised to perform warranty repair on Nexus Products?
Only an authorised Nexus Service Provider (NSP) can perform warranty repair. Ask your Reseller or Dealer for a list of Nexus authorised service providers.
What to do if my products Fails?
In the unlikely event that your product fails you should follow the steps below:
A.
My system is dead. (Pressing power-on switch and nothing happens)
1.
Make sure that the AC mains are OK
2.
Make sure your system is correctly connected.
3.
Make sure your peripherals are correctly connected.
4.
Check if any noise or Beep is produced by the system.
5.
Check if your monitor is powered on.
If the problem still persists follow step "C".
B. My system has other problems.
Please follow step "C".

Please make a note of:

Product name and model

Serial number
·
Purchase date
·
Operating system type and Version
·
When the problem occurring
·
Data, error codes, or massages that appear on your screen
Call your Nexus Service Provider (NSP)
Over the phone, provide any assistance your NSP request to determine the source of the problem.
If the problem is not solved over the phone, your NSP will instruct you for the necessary course of action.
How to receive carry-in warranty?
To receive carry-in warranty service:
1.
Call Nexus to acquire an RMA code BEFORE taking any other action.
2.
Ensure that you have a current backup copy of all your programs, files and data.
3.
Attach a proof of purchase (the original sales receipt or this warranty card)
4.
Take or send the defective product to your NSP and arrange to collect the product or provide for delivery once it has been repaired. Getting the product to and from the NSP is at you own risk and cost.
Shipping Preparation.
To ship the computer, complete the following steps:
1.
Call Nexus to acquire an RMA code BEFORE taking any other action.
2.
Back up the critical hard drive files. Ensure that backup tapes/diskette are not exposed to electrical or magnetic fields while stored in transit.
3.
Turn off the computer and external devices.
4.
Disconnect the external devices from their power sources, then from the computer.
5.
Ensure that there is no diskette in the diskette drive and that there is no CD in the CD-ROM drive.
6.
Close the display and all exterior doors of the computer.
7.
Pack the computer with sufficient packing material to protect it. Use the original packing box or similar packaging.
What I should know about my computer?
You should:

Only connect the system to the appropriate grounded power source.
·
Keep the system free of dust and dirt.
·
Keep the system well ventilated.
·
Check periodically the operation of the system fans. Blocked fans may result in damaging your system.
·
Operating the system only within the appropriate environment.
·
Avoid working with your system during thunderstorms if you don’t have extra protection for your system. Also it is recommended that you disconnect your system from telephone lines during thunderstorms.
·
Purchase a good antivirus software and frequently scan your system for viruses.
·
Keep backups of all your critical data.
·
Follow your operating system instructions.
·
Never leave disk or any other media in any system drives.
